Clearer Vision exists to care for Christian leaders by coming alongside them to offer a clearer vision of God, themselves and their calling. Our philosophy is based on the reality that sometimes we find ourselves in places that we don't know how we got there.  We might find ourselves in a dead end job or relationship and might have no idea what went wrong or how to fix it. Likewise we can experience tremendous success and have no idea how it happened, which means we won't know how to reproduce it. Clearer Vision uses a "outcome based" process to help identify factors that contributed to the success and/or failure of outcomes we experience in life.

We might know that the most important things in life start on the inside, but often all we can focus on is the outside outcome . Instead of fighting against that natural tendency, we use it to build a pathway of discovering what got us there. Simply put, every outcome has a set of behaviors that preceded it. Those behaviors had attitudes that allowed the behaviors to "be". Our attitudes are fueled by our beliefs about life, relationship and how they are supposed to be. Underneath our beliefs is a mash up of wounds and pain, life experience and early upbringing. Almost always, lying dormant under all of that is some truth and greater purpose that needs to be revealed. 

We track that path from Outcome to Pain and help you determine what needs to change to produce a different outcome. 

When we say "Christian Leader" we mean that as broadly as it needs to be.  Whether a Senior Leader with decades of degrees and experience to first time ministry staff to volunteer leaders exploring a call into ministry, we come alongside with care and coaching.

We take our role as coaches seriously, without taking ourselves too seriously.  We are not in the business of fixing people, even broken ones. Our job and approach is to simply help people gain a bit more clarity to help them set out to accomplish something. We do what we can do, you do what you can do and God does what only He can do . After all, it's your life, His purpose and ministry. We're just here to help you experience all of that to the fullest. 

We bring a combination of decades of ministry experiences in and around the local church and mix it with leader development, coaching and care. We're not experts, gurus or aficionados.  We're not perfect, so you don't feel the need to be either. What we are, is a group of people who care about caring for people who care for people.

The primary difference between a Coach and Consultant is who is considered "the expert" in each. Typically Consultants are "experts" who assess you as a leader and your organization. The consulting process tends to be more transactional than relational, because at the end of the day, you can take or leave the advice they offer. On the other hand, Coaches ought to view their "client" as the expert, because at the end of the day you know yourself, your ministry and your story better than anyone else, even if you're currently in a spot where its hard to see it clearly.  Coaches are a friend and partner who help you through rough patches and cheer you on when you're succeeding. For that reason we prefer a Coaching relationship, but wholeheartedly bring our knowledge and experience from over 30 years of ministry to help both you and your ministry thrive and move forward.
